PRESIDENTS NEWSLETTER 4TH MARCH 2016
NEW SATURDAY CLASSES FOR THE PROFESSIONAL YEAR PROGRAM IN ADELAIDE!
Its mad March in Adelaide where the world’s second largest music, dance and theatre festival goes hand in hand with a 300000 spectator street car race and one of the world’s great ethnic music festivals. All in a small compact city- what a buzz!
At William Light we are celebrating mad March with the introduction of a Saturday intake for the Professional Year Program. This means we now have options for students with other jobs to study on a week day (Wednesdays) or the weekend which is great.
Our first Wound Resource Nurse program successfully completed in Sri Lanka last week and our staff are hurriedly marking exams and preparing for the graduation. We are using an extensive evaluation of this program to form the basis for submissions for a range of industry accreditations world-wide.
Also mad March, well in truth is was the 29th February our Graduate Certificate in Wound Management course commenced through our national partner the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Education Centre. Interest in this course has been very high and we are very proud of the quality of the curriculum.
